Nex-Trax Canadian Arenacross Championship: Round 5, Chilliwack, BC, December 19th, 2009
RTR Performance KTM Canada rider Eric Nye, who is currently injured with a separated shoulder, couldn’t make the 5th round of the Nex Trax AX Series. Replacement rider Sean Borkenhagen was called and invited up from Huntington Beach California to ride the Nye’s #12 KTM 250 SX-F. For his first time in Canada, Sean showed he had what it took to get the job done. The racing was very tight and technical and Sean was having trouble finding his groove but managed to qualify easily for the main events. He went on to finish 4th in the MX2 race and after a decent start; Sean was pouring on the heat and pressuring the leaders in the MX1. He passed for 2nd before the checkers and scored a podium for RTR Performance TLD KTM.
KTM rider, Jamie Munro also ended up 2nd over all in the ladies class on her KTM 250 SX-F.
